A Stone Shop That Grew Into a Remodeling Company
Red Baron Construction Co. was founded by Gary, a lifelong Mesa resident who has called Arizona home for 48 years. In 2002 he opened a small slab stone shop with a simple premise: measure carefully, cut precisely, and never hand a homeowner a seam you would not accept in your own kitchen. Word travelled through Mesa the way it does in a place where everyone knows a neighbor mid-renovation.
Those countertop clients kept calling back — first for a new sink and backsplash, then for cabinetry, then for the whole kitchen. Rather than subcontract the work out and hope for the best, Gary brought each trade in-house. Two decades later, Red Baron is a full-service residential remodeling company that still fabricates and installs its own stone, and stone remains the largest share of what we do every week.
We have deliberately stayed small enough that the owner is on site. There is no call center, no commissioned sales team, and no project manager learning your house from a spreadsheet. When you call the number on this page, you reach the person who will be standing in your kitchen.
We are not the cheapest contractor in Mesa, and we have never tried to be. We are the one that shows up when it says it will, prices the job honestly, and finishes what it starts.

Our Own Crews, Not a Rotating Cast
Demolition, framing, electrical, plumbing, stone fabrication, tile, flooring, cabinetry, paint, and finish carpentry are all handled in-house under one license and one warranty.
